Written after I broke my right arm in 2020. Consigned to playing with only my left hand, I learned Alexander Scriabin's Prelude and Nocturne for LH alone, as well as Maurice Ravel's Left Hand Piano Concerto. While learning both, I thought it would be appropriate to compose a left hand piece of my own. In my Fantasy Prelude, you can hear many similarities between the Scriabin and Ravel.
