Written for my final orchestration project in early 2020, right before the pandemic began, "Night" recycles a theme/melody I used in my String Trio (2019) that is loosely atonal. This piece contains foreboding timbres and sonorities that combine quite well to make an eerie nocturnal scene. Unfortunately, the pandemic halted a performance of this piece, so I have the MIDI rendition here for everyone to listen to.
